Universal GNU Fortran 4.2.3 for Mac OS X 10.4 and higher. It is necessary in order to build R packages from sources that contain Fortran code. Unlike many other builds, this is a fully universal build of GNU Fortran that uses Apple's driver and supports all target architectures (i386, ppc, x8664 and ppc64).
Project CARS Mac OS X Ultimate Version Greetings to all the racing lovers! As a way to bolster software offerings on Mac, Apple is reportedly planning to blur the lines between its macOS and iOS platforms, allowing iPhone and iPad apps from the hugely successful iOS App. The name 'Mac OS' was, allegedly, created when Apple started its program to encourage Macintosh clones; the intent may have been to provide branding for the OS, separate from the hardware. 'Mac OS X' was probably picked as a name to suggest continuity with the earlier OSes with 'Mac OS' in their names, even though Mac OS X was a new OS.
MacOS, Mac OS X and macOS have always been at the heart of the Mac.

But my suggestion is to compile Tn-Grid for your platform (https://gene.disi.unitn.it/test): the source code is very easy and can be compiled only by executing scripts present in the source tree (of course you have to modify them by inserting ppc instead of x86); plus it requires very few ram and runs very good even on very old machines. Moreover, there is interest in its community to port the project to other platforms soon, such as Mips@OpenWRT and Arm@Android, so perhaps if you write in the forum it can be possible that some guy compiles the app for you (I could try but I do not have a ppc computer for testing) if you are not able to do it on your own. It is a very interesting biology project and they are doing right now also researches on coronavirus. Cheers :) |

EAH updated its SSL system four years again and the 10.5.8-compatible BOINC client can no longer communicate with it. It's possible there's still work for those with the know-how to recompile with a more up-to-date SSL certificate, but essentially PowerPC Macs and Mac OS 10.5.8 are no longer supported.NG |
