The following setup guide shows the steps required to get on the Internet with Beagle and your Mac OS X computer. Please note that this setup guide was produced with a computer running Mac OS X 10.1. BEAST has been developed in Java, which allows the same code to run on any platform that has the Java software installed. We have also created packages for each of the common operating systems to provide a user-interface that is ‘native’ and familiar.
BEAGLE is an independently developed software library that BEAST uses to accelerate its core calculations. See here for more details about BEAGLE and installing it.
